Tennis Tournament

This sunday, December 13, I had a tennis tournament for doubles (japanese). It was my second time going in a tennis tournament and last time I came 3rd and my doubles partner was a friend from Bandung. We were sure we will come 1st because I run 1km every morning at 5am and tennis practice everyday after dinner. I was really nervous because there were 7th graders in that tournament too. We played our first game and it was easy because they were our age and they were beginners. We won them 6-0. The second match was a had real hard match and if we won that match we would go to the finals but if we lost we would go to the match where we choose who is in 3rd place. It was a real tough game but we won 6-5 and we went to the finals. At the finals we played against 7th graders. I would really be shocked and ticked off because the 1km I ran every morning and the practice I was doing would just be a waste. We were really nervous. After 30 minitues we were still playing but after ten minutes the score was 6-5 to us. We were so happy and we were really surprised that we won. We actually came 1st! The problem was if I could come 1st again next Tournament.

December 3 is the unluckest day of my life. You know why? Read on and find out!

December 3 is the unluckest because in the morning I was supposed to wake up at 5am in the morning to go jogging but my alarm never went on and I woke up at 6:30. And I had to leave for school at 6:40 so I didnt shower, no brakefast, no talking, I just got ready for school.

School was ok but after school was the problem. When I got home, I did my homework, my japanese homework and my 3 pages of math. After that I went downstairs to play soccer. I brought my soccer ball and my tennis racket and 120000rp and my phone. The reason I brought a tennis racket is because I had a tennis lesson after and the reason I had 120000rp is because I had to pay 20000rp to the ball boy and 100000rp is for pulsa for my phone. After soccer I noticed that my bag was opened and the 120000rp was gone. So I went serching for it but I couldnt find it. I got late for tennis and got in trouble. While I was playing, I served the ball and I accedently hit the racket to my knee and now I have tis little bump on my knee.
After I went home, my sisters PURPOUSLY spilled water on the floor and I slipped on it. And I got in trouble for slipping on water because my mom thinks I was not waching where I walked.

This is why December 3, is the worst day of my life.

Bintaro Lama Video

Water treatment plant

We went to a water treatment plant somewhere in Jakarta. What we do there is that we have to clean the water so that we can give the water to the taps in Jakarta.

What we did in the first station is we get the water from the river near us and we remove the garbage from the river which is called Garbage Removal. We take out big trash and little trash like cup noodle cups.

On the second station, we added chlorine to the water to kill the bacteria and we added floc the the water (its a chemical which makes solid objects stick together)

The third station, we had to make the floc sink to the bottom and after that we add chlorine to kill the bacteria again

The fourth station is to make the water go through a 1 meter tell sand so we can get the water clean. Then we add chlorine again!

The last station was to test the water if the water is safe enough to give it to the people who live near the water treatment plant. I learned a lot of things at the plant

2.Where is the worlds supply of fresh water found? 2.5% of 2% is in iceburgs and 0.49% is found in ground water and soil and the other 0.01% is in the atmosphear, rivers and lakes.
3.Even though the supply of fresh water is abundant it is still a problem. why? Yes because most of the water in the world is SALT water.

5 paragraphs about Bintaro Lama

This is the first time I have ever been to a Kampung. I thought it would be a nice place but it kind of smelled and was dirty. I really felt sorry for the people that was born to live there. We went to 3 different stations around the kampung.

The first station we went to was a very important station and what we did there was we had to look through this bottle full of water and there is a cross at the bottle of the bottle. We had to look through the bottle and see if we could see the cross at the bottom. And if we could see The cross, then the water is clear, but if we cant see the water then it means its dirty.

The second station we went was about the water treatment. What we did was that we learned how to make bath water clean. To do that, we had to have three layers of sand. Then we pour dirty water inside the bottle with three layers. Then the water will come out from the bottom and be clean for having a BATH not drinking.

The third station, we made drinking water. We had to clean the inside of the bottle with soap water. Also we had to clean the cap. Then we had clean water but we cant drink, and washed off the soap that was inside the bottle. Then we had to pour that water inside the bottle and put the bottle on top of the roof. We have to leave it there for 6 hours and if it is cloudy we have to leave it there for 2 days.

After this trip, I really thought about how lucky I am to be living in this life with a water dispenser. I also feel really sorry for the people that live in the kampung. Now I also try to not waste water when I tooth brush.

I got so mad, I took a rubber band from the rubber band box, made a gun shape and the target, my mom, was locked. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, before I fired the rubber band, figured out the positioning of my fingers were wrong. Too late, the rubber band came into my eyes and every thing went black.
I started screaming “AHHHHH, oh my gosh” While I was sobbing, my mom called a taxi, and she took me to the nearest hospital in town. When I reached the doctor, he checked my eyes and said that the pupil of my eyes had a cut. I was really shocked. I am serious, because I thought I was blinded forever but I was wrong. The doctor said I had to wear an eye patch for one week.
When I got the eye patch, TING!!!! A great idea popped into my mind in my head. When I got home, I rushed into my room and started changing into a pirate costume. I started acting like a pirate and doomed my sisters’ life for ever. This is how hurting you with a rubber band is also known as ruining your sisters’ life forever.

The Rubber Band
“OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!” I cried with pain in my eyes. It hurts so much, I can’t even see anything right in front of me. Actually, I can’t even open my eyes and all I can say is ahhhhhhh!

Today

I kind of hated today because the whole morning my mom said I have to do 6 pages of math. I didn't want to but my mom made me. After the math, my mom left to go to S.O.S because my dad had a broken leg and she had to go with him. So my mom left and right after she closed the door, I dashed to the phone and called my friends to comr over(I live in an apartment so I called my neighbors). We played WII from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. After the 2 hours and 30 minutes of WII, we went to play table tennis. Neil and about 5 other people played a tournament and I came first, Neil was second and so and so on. Thats how the day ended.

I think all of you should read this bok and other books of Andy Griffiths.I like this book because someone suggested this book to me. This is a book for grade 6th.

Maze of Bones

This book is a great book by Rick Riordan because I love mystery books and this is one. Basically this book is about this boy and girl which is on a scavenger hunt and and gets 39 clues to find the secret of the Cahill family. So they go on a dangerous hunt with other teams trying to kill them with bombs and trapping them in fire and other dangerous things. Also, in this book they go to different countries all around the world to find the clues.

There is lots of books after this one, so once you start reading the first book, the book makes you want to read the second book then the third and so and so on. This is my favorite book I have read since start of 6th grade. I suggest this book to everyone who sees this post.

Characterzation In Just Shocking

Just Shocking has many stories inside. The main character inside is Andy, which is also the author. The book is about Andy doing lots of pranks and getting in trouble.

On page 102, he says that he was late for school because of tight underpants. And also says that he didn't come to school yesterday, because of natural disasters like volcanic eruption, an earthquake, a tsunami, a hurricane, and a willy-willy. You can tell that Andy makes lies that are really dumb and hard to belive.

On page 158, Andy and Danny(best friend), were playing a game called Lemonade roulette. The point of the game was to shake one of the lemonade out of six lemonades. They were playing when his dads boss came in and took one lemonade. His dads boss is very strict and took a lemonade and that lemonade was the one that was shaken. So you can tell that he like making jokes.

So you think Andy is not scared of anything because he was doing these pranks. Well you are wrong! Because on page 21, Andy was acting like a robot and his job was to annoy his sister. But his parents were telling him to do chores. But Andy would never listen. So the parents thought he might need charging, so they said to keep the robot inside the closet. Well Andy did not agree because he said he did not want to go inside the closet because of spiders and bugs. Well he got stuck in the closet. He thought he was trapped inside there for a whole week, but he was only there for 45 minuets. That tells us that he is scared of bugs and that he is stupid

Well, this book is a shocking and a really funny book. I think Andy Griffths and Terry Denton make a great team.

This book is a very great book which was written by Andy Griffths. Just Shocking has many diffrent stories, some are short, really long and some stories only have a few pages. But all of them are very funny. This book is about This boy called Andy which is the auther. He does very bad things and also shocking things, like and poping ballons then stickis on to his face so he has to peel off his face and has to get plastic sugery. The book has great ilustrations by Terry Denton. He draws snails and little comic stips on every page.

Overall, the auther and the illustrator make a great team. Thats why the "Just" series are so shocking and annoying and disgusting and great.

Indonesia earthquake 2009

This earthquake that hit Indonesia on September 2, 2009 was really bad. There were lots of houses (like this one) and buildings that fell on top of people. Right now (12:49 pm ) September 3, they said that 44 has died and dozens are buried. This earthquake has injurd at east over 400 people. This earthquake was on 3pm yesterday. There was no tsunami for this earthquake. They say that the whole earthquakes vibration went from the west cost to the east cost. One of the closest cities that was damaged was this city called Tasikmalaya. This was partly our fault for killing 44 people because we built unstabled building near the ring of fire. The locals were shocked after the earthquake because of the aftershock. People said that they saw building swaying.

Yesterday, there was a snake which we saw it on lunch time. It was really weird because we don't see snakes slithering across you. So we discussed and said that the snake might felt that the earthquake was coming. So I was like "gee, you don't see that everyday". And then 3 hours later the earthquake came.

Dav Pilkey

Dav Pilkey was born on March 4th, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. His father works for steel salesman and her mother was the organism at the local church. His sister was a professional tattleteller. He doesn't remenber his childhood that much except that he was almost always happy.

He made a record in school which was an all time record for staying in the principles office. He was the town clown, he stll holds a record for stcking crayons inside his nose.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid the last straw By: Jeff Kinney

This book is basiclly about a boy called Gregory, who has a brother called Rodrick, who always bullies him. He likes this girl called Holly. He wants her to like him and he wants to ask her out, but bullies and nerds get in the way. Man, I feel sorry for him. He is he does not do sports or board games. The only thing he plays is video games. He has a best friend who always gets liked by girls but I don`t know why? He is so ugly and dumb, but he is rich and gets cool stuff on christmas.

The best part about this book I like is when his dad was about to send Gregory to millitary school. I once had a friend who was almost sent to millitary school (not a person in JIS). So Gregory was almost sent to millitary school for summer but he saved his dad from going to a boring party and the only thing you do there is thry making this baby laugh, because they want to put the funniest action on America`s Funniest Videos.

This book is one of the best books I have ever read and I recomended to 4th to 7th graders.

Typhoon Morokat

This was one of the worst major storm in 50 years that hit Taiwan. You can see that it flooded so much, that water covers half of the cars on the road. Some might of got stuck inside the car, and ran out of air inside.. There were mud slides and big floods which killed lots and lots of people. Now none can drive the car on the road and none can get anywhere. This storm effected all over Taiwan. But there was a city called Chiayi. This flood is going to take a long time to clear up!
