This is the coolest thing on the ocean. You would not believe this is possible but it is. What plastiki is, is a sailboat made of Plastic bottles. The sailors in this boat is starting from Los Angeles to Sydney. Thats across the world! They are going to use this hydration garden holder thing which is like a pole and it grows vegetables from it. I wish I could try going around the world with that. That would be a great long adventure with some hard and good times but I like challenges. And the great thing is that its environmental.

What you say about the sailboat is very true and your enthusiasm comes through big time. I agree, it would be cool to take a trip on a catamaran like this.
The real reason for Plastiki, though, is to draw our attention to the problem of plastic pollution in our oceans. It's bad, and getting worse.

Great work. It shows you really like the plastiki. But arent they sailing from san francisco to sydney?
You did a good job but it was a little short and you forgot to write how many bottles were used.
